Egg Card.......How can I cancel card re-payment protector?

Hi Guys

Am really trying hard to get my head out of the sand and work out where our money really goes in a month. Anyway..........have an egg card with a balance of £1,522.71. Have just logged on to view my statement (dont use this card) and notice I am paying something called Card Re-Payment Protector? Have always paid this and have no idea what it is! Its only £11.93 per month but every penny helps.

Can anyone tell me what this is? And more importantly any ideas how I can cancel it? Kind figure if I didnt even know it existed I cant really need it!

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Thanks
Lindsey
Its hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........

People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!

Go to the reclaim tab on the front page of MSE and recalim all the outstanding payments on your PPI, unless that is it will actually pay out if you lose your job (most will not).

    You could get loads back.

if you need PPI, you can get it a lot cheaper as a stand alone.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • You can cancel this via the secure messaging facility on the Egg website when you log-in. I cancelled mine really in an effort to finally get rid of this credit card once and for all!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
