fixed mortgage rate ending do we fix again?

Options
Our fixed rate on our main mortgage account ends in March. We are with Cheltenham & Gloucester and have several sub accounts with them as well.
Apparently we've been told we need to make a descision in January if we want to fix the rate again. With the current climate is fixing it the right option?

    Depends on you.

How would a rate rise affect you ? Can you afford it ? Is stability important to you ?

There is a good article on this very question from Martin.

Do a search for 'fixed or tracker' - there seems to be a thread on this subject every day.

No-one can tell you what's best based on such basic information.
