Hi
I live in a fairly new (3yr old) development which has a small piece of communual grassland. As part of our contract we have to have a management company which the builders were to set up. It took them two years to do this and they couldnt have picked a worse property management company to run it on our behalf. I probably cant name names so I wont but they have mismanaged it from the start and we would like to figure out how to get rid of them. Unfortunately there are outstanding issues with the builders and the existing property management company so simply telling them to bog off doesnt look like the easiest way out haha
I know this is a money saving website but as a daily visitor to our wee local forum, I cant think of anywhere else to go. I'm def no expert on this type of thing!
Can anyone recommend a fairly respectable property management company? Does one exist? haha
Or can anyone suggest a better place to go looking for recommendations?
Thanks in advance.
Steven

What about the RICS website - some chartered surveyors work in property management, you could find one from them and hire their firm? At least they are regulated by a professional body.

What about Sandra Pyper in Carrickfergus?

Don't know too much about her, but she took over from A I Caters who were well established in the town. Depends where you are too.0 -
Thanks for your replies so far :T
I'm in Newtownabbey so anything in Co Antrim/Belfast city area would be ideal.
I'll look into both those later. Anyone else any experiences?

nabbeybloke, I should have said I know people who rent from them and they certainly have no problems with their properties, don't know what they're like to deal with though from your side.0

Sandra Pyper has a fairly good reputation. You could also try Property One, they might cover that far out.
Abbey and Jordanstown don't put many/any photos on their adverts which I always feel is a bad sign.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0 -
