  • Morning all. Just back from church, first time in many years but very welcoming. Y'all made me laugh last night, it's like the cyber equivalent of a crashing hangover on here this morning!

Gert, please don't let it drive you crazy. Where there's a will there's a way, so if he's gonna do it he will do it and hide it. The only difference you can make is how you handle it.

My counsellor once told me something like this: you are in a busy supermarket car park and patiently waiting for a space when a car whizzes past you and pinches the only one right from under your nose. You are seething and go over to give a piece of your mind. Out of the car steps your best friend from childhood whom you haven't seen for over ten years as she had moved away. You are thrilled to see each other and the parking space is forgiven and forgotten.

I think the moral of the story is wait and see, things are not always as they seem and sometimes what looks bad is actually a gift, so try not to stress about stuff and you may find you are pleasantly surprised in time.

It's about you can't change stuff, just how you react. Don't let it destroy you - you had a fun night with your mse mates hun, so good job he was snoring on the sofa or you would've missed the party!
But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!

I like that stressed, some good words there. I'm always getting worked up about things I can do nothing about... I must learn to react differently.

I'm glad you were welcomed at church this morning and hope it helps you. I go regularly and sometimes find it a chore. I'm really struggling with that sort of thing at the moment but have to go as I have responsbilities at my church so can't just not be bothered.

Any advice for cleaning tiles/grout? My shower is disgusting. I've tried everything to get the orange and black mould/mildew off. Just spent half an hour scrubbing with some dettol mould/mildew remover and while the tiles are definitely cleaner (all shiny and clean smelling), the black and orange is still there. I hate it!
Life is all about the journey.
