The rain is bad here too Bella, but DH has just made a good point, it will at least "put a dampener" on the fireworks, I hate them with a vengence too, one of our doggies that's no longer with us used to be an escape artist and he got out of the garden on bonfire night one year, we drove round the entire town for hours and hours and couldn't find him in his usual places like the beach or the fast food places in town and we had to finally give up looking cos the kids were small and had to go to bed. We were devastated, but not as much as when we found him, he'd somehow found his way home and collapsed on our doorstep. Some evil *&%$%* kids had captured him and tied fireworks to him and set them off, he was in such a bad way and never the same again. So I totally understand how you feel hun xThat ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0

Just caught up with todays posts on here - what's all this cross-stitching and knitting stuff. Am I on the wrong board? MS old style??
It's p'ing down here, at least it's not as cold as it has been all day and I won't have to keep the cat in away from fireworks as doubt anyone will be bothering.
Iwannabeonthebeach, saw Ottery on the news and all the hail you brought down on them is still piled up! No carnival for me tonight. Xfactor and a bottle of pear cider lined up. Reminds me, am I the only person who hasn't won a cider comp? I LOVE the stuff (well, I am from Devon)! And is it just the pear cider, or is Harry Hill strangely attractive? No!? Def the cider then! But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0 -
