London News: Met Office in snow and sleet warning for capital Tuesday, 28 October 2008 LONDON could be hit by snow and sleet today, the Met Office has warned.
Arctic winds from the North will bring rain and the possibility of snowy showers to the outskirts of the capital.
The unseasonably cold snap has already seen Londoners wrapping up in scarves and gloves as temperatures dropped to a chilly 2C (36F) overnight.
