my dd fell in love with an amanda wyatt dress and landy don't seem to list them.
I think you can email Landy pictures and she will tell you if she'd be able to make it.
I think they'l make just about any dress to be honest.
Good luck and let us know what she says!

there is another company called Milly Bridal who will design a dress to your specifications and will send photo's of the 'toile' (the cotton type pattern) at each stage to make sure everything is ok and as you want it.
There is a very large thread about them with lots of pics on the 'You and Your Wedding' forum.

Hi
As Rainforest said, I got this dress in white from Landy and I'm thrilled with it. When I bought it it came to £150 but the pound appears to be stronger against the euro now.
Two things about it that are different from the original (which I saw at a wedding fair) - firstly there are only two layers of tulle over a white satin skirt but it doesn't make that much difference to me as it still looks all ballerina-ishand secondly, the corset bodice is encrusted with plastic clear beads, rather than Swaroski (sp??) crystals but they still sparkle and look very expensive.
It's really well made - there are light bones in the corset to help give you a bit of support/shape. There is an elasticated strap at the back to hold the corset together when you're being tied up into it. It's fully lined with a lovely extra train bit at the back (but not too much). I'm wearing a two-hooped petticoat underneath it which makes it look VERY princessy!
I ordered it in a standard size 16 which is fine as it fits perfectly even if I gain or lose a bit of weight - I couldn't be bothered with faffing around with custom measurements. Oh and I didn't have to pay any customs duty!
Just to let you know, they package up the dresses very small - so don't be horrified when it's delivered (I paid extra to have it couriered rather than snailmail) and they package it inside out, so it needs hanging up to let the creases drop out.
If you PM me, I'll see if I can sort out a photo for you (eithout hoop - I haven't taken any pics of myself wearing the dress with a hoop yet).

How did you go around ironing it, are you having it professionaly pressed or something? Just wondering.. :smileyhea0 -
Minxy thats great news, so glad your pleased with it, I'm 90% going for the dress I spoke about earlier, how long did it take from when you ordered til you received it?
I would love a peek just to see what the tulle type skirt looks like, only if you don't mind though, totally understand you want to keep it a surprise for your big day.Booo!!!0 -

Nooo don't iron your dress, hang it up to let the creases come out, or hang it up in the bathroom after a shower to let the creases fall out.
Lovely dresses ladies, i'm too indecisive i'm sure i'll change my mind at least another 100 time before i order my dress :rotfl:0 -
I orded the material swatches on the afternoon of the 10th and got it today - really surprised at how quick it got here from China! less than 6 days!0

PM me with your email address, love, and I'll send you some pics xxx
Edit to add; I ordered the dress on December 30th and received it on Feb 15th - bearing in mind that Landy closed for three weeks for the Chinese New Year - so it would usually take 3-4 weeks. HTH0
