Thanks Greenbee think I'm okay on cake tins (Im getting into the shaped ones now), unless youre talking the storage type. and I couldn't really say EXACTLY what Im after for the rest of it...I really want petal cutters and gun sets and will not say no to any stands that are going. Anything that will help model sugarpaste would be appreciated. But I dont mind waiting at all.

I am soooo bored! I hate being bored, feels like a waste of the day but there's just nothing i want to do except some baking (which is not a good idea cos i'll only eat it and meant to be losing weight!)

Guess the WM will have finished by now, i'll see and hang sheets up if so. Also can make tomorrow's lunches and make up spag bol for tomorrow if the mince has defrosted

Hi, I was just having a read of all your posts and it struck me that maybe you shouldn't put too much detail on the yahoo group of where you live, i.e. postcode that can be read by anyone.(I don't mean all you lovely people whopost on here, I mean, just anyone could find it) I just joined the group and it was very easy to do, no moderator checks, so anyone could do the same.

Tell me if you think I am being paranoid!!

I am spending my free weekend looking for a cheap laptop.

Don't worry PB, I'm incredibly paranoid about security, so its only going as far as the nearest town/station.

... now I just need to work out how to do one of the google maps things where you put your postcode in and it shows everyone's locations! If anyone knows the answer, can we link it to the Yahoo group?

It's dead easy in Google Earth you just use the little stick pin thing at the top

All dark and horrible here now - I hate it when the clocks go back - not keen on winter at all!

Thank you to all for the good wishes for DD, but she isn't any better today, and I was up again with her in the night. I shall be ringing the doctors' surgery first thing tomorrow morning.

Hope the meet has gone well - I'd have liked to come along! Maybe I'll make one in the South. I've done the yahoo thing as well.

I slept very late today, which I hardly ever do, and have done very little as I'm really tired. I paid my allotment rent, and nipped to B&Q, which was a complete waste of time as they had neither the curtain poles nor the lamp shade I were looking for - however, after lunch I did a bit of googling, and have ordered the poles, and found the lamp shade in Argos of all places! I'll try and get it tomorrow. It's a shade with a chandelier effect inside, if that makes sense. I saw it in BHS last year, part of the Kelly Hoppen range, but they seem to have parted company and no longer stock it.

Denise - I'm finally getting around to doing a few more bits to finish the rooms that are half done, and if I run short of inspiration, I may be consulting you! On the list for this week is booking someone to measure and quote for the cloakroom, and also measure the carpet in the livingroom, as not only is it threadbare, and ripped in one place, but DS2 tipped over his hot chocolate last night...and no, he wasn't supposed to be drinking it in here...

Book case in front room up and things organised. Managed to create a bit more space in there (DiL has taken to using it as a dumping ground for stuff!). Had to have an emergency cheese sandwich as I started to go all wobbly - then realised I hadn't eaten anything since beans on toast about 9am. I'm not good if I go without food for too long. It's doing the trick and my blood sugar levels are getting back to normalish

Chicken now in the oven roasting away.

I can't decide between watching Hetty Wainthrop at 5.30 or Poirot at 5.40. I think I might do 10 mins of Hetty and then swap over.

    I'll peel the veg then
