Seems some EA are switching tactics to get you in

I'm not saying this is dodgy or shouldn't be done as they are trying to save their jobs

But i have noticed 1 EA my way (wiltshire/Dorset) is removing all prices on rightmove and just adding POA

You can see previous prices when using propertybee (does that mean i get commision for advertising PB:D )

I guess it gets you ringing up and then they can hit you with all their selling tactics
If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

  • I make a point of never asking if it is a case of POA as you know already that it is too much.
I am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.

Yep same thoughts here, I just think why are they hiding the price

I'm sure there are many more doing it or will be doing it soon

I think more likely they dont want to set a precedent for that road or whatever, so are hoping to interest you and will accept offers.

This could blow up in their face, as many (me included) would just pass it by and look for one with a price.... If they can't be bothered to advertise the price, then why would anyone bother to find out, after all people usually try to avoid talking to estate agents? :D

wymondham - have you noticed locally nothing seems to be reduced at the moment? Even Victorian terraced are still being put up for over £200k in our road.

On the positive side, it should put a stop to the planned 3000 new houses ;)
