I wrote in last time about a part offer of 25% on a ppi that had been paid over 5 years. We wrote asking for ppi back, phoned them frid to see if had letter, was told they have cheque ready ring monday different department. Dont know if thats gonna be for 25% or all yet.
Anyone out there to look at these figures as im a bit confused as to what should be paid or not.
Not sure what windows he had but total price (think that maybe ppi included)is
£2600 @29% over ten years sucured to the house!!!
payments £60 a month
Has paid that for 5 years, they told him going back before all this he owed about £2,600???????
If ive calculated right hes paid 60 mth x 5 years =£3,600 so far.
would you say that then maybe hed be quits now, he supposidly has another 5 years????

Completely confused by your post, is the £2600 the PPI part of the loan or the loan with PPI included?Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

the total £2600 must be the loan and the ppi together then 29% interest to go on over the years :rolleyes:0

Hi there
I have not had the chance to read thorougly through your post yet, but can see you mention about the PPI on reclaiming this back, if you believe this was mis sold you should try for the whole lot of it back, to be put back in the position as if this was not taken, plus interest etc.
If you want to copy and paste your post and take it to the PPI reclaiming -discussion thread, where there you will receive guidance throughout this and some help with the calculations.
You click on loans, then the the title PPI reclaiming - discussion is generally at the top of that page.
Hope to see you there, cheers.;)

i have my original letter on the ppi discussion thread (i think) i have wrote to first plus, got to ring monday. just a bit worried they may make an offer but not sure what i would be due back as i have to obviously pay for the windows plus interest. as i said above the ppi is included(i think) in with the total loan which is £2600.
cant work out what ive paid on. windows or ppi0 -

Sorry if I have missed you on the reclaiming thread.
I would contact them hun and ask them for a written copy of the breakdown, they should supply you with this, and free of charge too, for any other information and for absolutely everything they have on you, you would have to request for a SAR (Subject Access request), this is down to even phone calls if any and all information they have on you on this account which will include the ppi information.
However there is a £10 cheque payment charge for this or postal order, and they have 40 days to send all this info to you, and they MUST provide you with this or you can contact the ICO -which is the Information Commissioners Office.
I will add this thread here for you anyway of the reclaiming forum if you require further info on this and templates.;)

Catch you later hun.
