Help needed in purchasing an optical wireless mouse for laptop

Can anyone tell me if these are any good? I’m trying to get an optical wireless mouse for my brother, however, I’m not sure what to get or where to start looking. Are all these wireless mouse’s connected via a USB receiver? Can anyone please advise?
