NB on the argos blurb it says it walks but if you google it, that seems to be wrong.
Booo!!!

  • I built a site for Kota the Triceratops and from the research I did, there was a lot of confusion over whether Kota walked or not.

The fact is that he simulates walking via the sound effects of dinosaur stomping sounds when the child is sat on the back. There is also a setting to play prehistoric explorer adventure tunes at the same time.

But to re-iterate, Kota does not walk.

Lets hope Kota 2 does and comes in a size suitable for adults too ;)

Thank's Vialli, is it any good? It does look like fun from the footage I've seen online. I'm sure my 3yr old dd would love one but, I couldn't spend that kind of money on something like that.

As you say from the videos online, this looks good and I am sure that any three year old would get hours of enjoyment out of it.

But at the £300 mark it is not a toy for everyone.

When the prices on my site updated this morning the two cheapest places to buy Kota the Triceratops was Amazon and the Toyshop at £275.

I have just manually checked these and Amazon is now showing £289.99 but out of stock but The toyshop sill has stock at £275.

Anybody seriously thinking about one of these for Christmas should act now as I can see this item being out of stock at most places very soon.
