photo for visa application

Hey Folks
I'm entering the US green card lottery and I need to find somewhere that will take a passport photo but put it on a disk or cd (scanning them isn't the best). Anyone got any ideas?

  • it has to be certain measurements etc, safer to get it done by a pro!

I would read what it had to be and do it myself, but it's your call.

Yes, definitely get it taken by someone who knows what they're doing. There is info re photo requirements on the US Embassy website. There are lots of places that take these regularly and know exactly what is required. Last time I needed a visa photo I used the chemist beside Stranmillis roundabout - they get loads of these to do, being so close to the US Consulate - they even know better than what is on the forms as they gave me just one photo despite the forms saying I needed two - and they were right.
