clubcard deals

I notice that the tesco website states that certain deal tokens will come with the name/address of the user on and are not transferrable. Does anyone know whether they actually do this or just print generic deals vouchers?

cheers

  • I received £1,000 worth of MFI vouchers today. They have my surname on them, but not my full name and address.

My Cresta vouchers had my full name on them and a note that only the named holder can exchange them.

However, my family days out ones arrived with nothing.
  • I noticed that they say now:

Only Clubcard Vouchers printed with your name can be accepted.

confirmed that "days out", museums and stuff don't have name or address on. However, having name/address on Holiday vouchers or MFI kind of speaks against buying a couple on ebay and then trying to get a deal from Tesco, as was advised previously. Shame.

Hiya, beginners question - I'm looking at using my clubcard vouchers to get myself a watch from Goldsmiths and my girlfreind has said she'd volunteer her vouchers. Can we do this?

Can we send off both our clubcard vouchers together to swap for deals vouchers?
Or can we get deal vouchers each and use them both on the same purchase?
  • They put names on the big ones like holidays, MFI and Goldsmiths. They dont put names on ones like days out tokens. With MFI the tokens deal code starts with an "S" . The Days out tokens also start with an S. I've used days out tokens to go towards my MFI purchase. They take them as long as they codes start with the same letter.

With regard to different names on clubcard vouchers, I'm pretty sure its okay as long as its the same ADDRESS.

I sent in clubcard vouchers last year and requested MFI tokens. I'd bought vouchers off my mum at face value as she just would have spent them in tesco otherwise. when they got my deals order form, they rung me to say they had cancelled the vouchers which werent mine and put the points back onto the original persons account (ie, my mum). They said that so many had been sold on ebay (!!) and it was in their terms and conditions that people werent to sell them that they had been forced to do it! They also said that for all they knew, they could have been stolen!

Word of warning for anyone out there buying on ebay!

There was an offer on beef and gravy which gave me lots of points, in effect they paid me to buy the beef so I did that (offer has ended). I insured my 2 cars with Tescos and got bonus points, I switched to a Tesco credit card, at Christmas I looked for extra point items eg buy a cinderella dvd and get 300 bonus points, I signed up for 3 clubcards at my address (to get extra vouchers) and I ensured that all my grocery shopping was either online to get the extra clubcard points or in-store where I could redeem shopping vouchers off my groceries without actually buying the voucher items !! I also signed up for every Tesco clubcard club going as they will send vouchers and some of them will be useful, even if some are not eg double points on next shop.

    Hope that helps :rotfl:
