seems I missed out on the £2 wine bargains at Asda. All the shelves were empty and whilst it was the poo end of the wine anyway (they were originally all under £3) a splash of lemonade can transform any bottle of vinegar! I bought a big bottle of cheap fruit cider for £2, huge saving on the Jacques at £3.65.

OH had some interesting words tumble out of his mouth earlier. I got changed into bog standard black trousers I've had for years (and wear at least once a week!) and, admittedly, a new black jumper. He looked at me when I said I was going out and said

"new trousers? new jumper? who you meeting? you never go out like that"

This is the jumper (in black) - I'd hardly say it was the kind of outfit to provoke comment!!!

I've just seen a bizarre job advert for a 'Rainmaker'

Apparently "Candidates will ideally have a track record of selling consulting enagements from the value of GBP2m to GBP50m per annum."

I'm guessing it's some kind of 'in' London management speak term rather than needing someone to dress up like a Zulu and jump around with a spear in a voodoo-esque kind of way commanding the clouds to open......
