Its amazing how little time we have to talk with people face-to-face during the course of a day, especially about the things that really matter.

Chatting on here, however frivolous , makes a real difference to my day as I'm sure it does to everyone else. Even those who just read it.

    Thanks :happyhear

I havent had an alcoholic drink for over a week now:eek: The last time that happed I had pneumonia and was coughing up blood.................not because I hadnt had a drink, but thats the last time I went longer than a week without one.

God I sound like a raving alcoholic but I have lost a couple of pounds and saved some pennies so its all good I suppose:D cant say I have missed it really either.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Hi all

Just popping in while I watch Strictly...

Snaggs, when I was new on here I really remember being struck by what a lovely person you were and so I just wanted to say how sorry I am hon and I hope that you are OK.

(hugs to everyone else that is having a carp time too - which seems to be everyone)

DD don't sweat the cleaner, I think we are all a bit quick to beat ourselves up on here when we spend any money at all, while sometimes we deserve beating up (like my completely unnecessary £120 IKEA trip at the start of this month) sometimes we do need to be a bit realistic about what we can do so if the cleaner gives you space to breathe then have one and enjoy it!

At least you are brave enough to confess, I still have never posted a SOA because I am so ashamed of my shoddy broadband and mobile deals:rolleyes: - lol
