I think its because Vinegar is an alkaline and it neutralises the stomach acid causing the heartburn...........I think:o

Some people have not got a bloody clue you know, someone on the save gas and electricity thread has just said "why dont you all work harder to get a better job so you dont have to behave like Scrooge" !!!!!!

Of course, the scales have just fallen from my eyes, why didnt I think of that.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • I don't really venture onto the other boards much Lou-it's scarrwy

  • I use the Today's Posts links so go through all the forums... some are scarier than others ;)

I'm tired and ill and having a really !!!! time. I can't remember the last time I had any actual fun. OH is great and we're getting on fine, but... well it's the daily grind I suppose. I think I expected too much of MSE - that I might make friends because I don't have many. But it's not really here for me like that - everyone seems so cagey lately. I write posts and then delete them, so I figure I may as well not bother. Shall I delete this one? :rotfl: I don't know, just ignore me and my ramblings ;)

I think the boy band are great on the X Factor, I hope they win, just to see Simon turn green.

You sound so very down-I think this forum, like most, has waves between when people are there, and then not. I would like to think I am your friend-I've not found people cagey, but then, half the time things go over my head, perhaps too wrapped up in my own little world.

I wish I could come round and sit and chat. One problem with making friends over the internet is that they are 'there' for a REAL hug.

DD, can you get OH to look after DS for an afternoon and meet up with a friend for lunch or something? or have a night out with OH?
We are all here for you and sorry if you feel folks are being cagey but it's maybe just that there are a lot of folks going through tough times at the moment and maybe a little less cheery, chatty than usual.
