This questions is going through the courts now; it depends on whether the charges will be held to be reasonable and fair. The banks will say that you signed up to the terms and conditions when you took out the loan and should have paid promptly and regularly. Others will say that their charges are out of all proportion to their costs and in fact amount to an illegal penalty. I believe a final ruling is expected mid-2009.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
