Do marks and spencer staff get xmas bonus???

Do temporary staff get an xmas bonus or is it just permanent members of staff??

I worked there as an Xmas temp a few years back and as far as I remember I didnt get any sort of bonus.

no xmas bonus whether your permanent or temp. it was rolled onto basic salary a few years ago. i.e. the hourly rates went up a little and the bonus was removed.

I don't think M&S will be supplying any bonus if what I heard yesterday is true.

The 2 very nice guys delivering our new sofa from M&S were much earlier than we expected them....3 weeks early in fact....when we asked why, they said that they had very little work on, and as from next week they were being put on a 3 day week. When I expressed horror at this happening to them just before Xmas, they explained to my even more horror, that they are to be pai their normal 5 day week wages while doing their 3 day week, but after Xmas when things pick up (hopefully) and they go back to a 5 day week they have to pay the money back they received for the ''extra'' 2 days:eek:

Good grief, I was stunned for them, I had no idea that a company could do this!!
