likelyhood of getting a 2K loan in current economic climate?

HI, does anyone know whether the current credit crunch/ 'recession' here in the Uk will affect my chances of getting a 2k loan from my bank.

i have a good credit rating and never defaulted on payments- i previously had a £1,000 loan which i paid off completely 6months ago with no late payments. I am currently emplyed but temping-have done so for the last 4months since i graduated from uni.

I'd say give it a go if you've had regular money paid into the account. They might ask you to prove your income though and the high street banks don't seem to do the best interest rates on loans....

The worst they can say is no, but the worst for you is that you end up paying too much for something (ie: you could have gotten the loan cheaper).
