Hi,
Recently I bught two pairs of shoes from M&S and it cost £27.50.
They have just dispatched the order.
I can see the price of one pair of shoes has already dropped from £12 to £9.00.
Can I reclaim the difference(£3) by phoning customer service?
Thanks

No they do not have a price guarantee. They would have changed the price at the time of ordering if the price changed during the order process when you were online, if it changed after despatch there's nothing you can do about it. If you aren't happy the only thing to do is take back the shoes to a store or send them back for a refund which would cost you in postage anyway(not sure if you can get refunds instore with your online shopping at M&S check your terms and conditions). Explain to the sales assistant whats happened but I'm pretty sure they do not have to refund you the difference at all. As with all stores when there is a sale on, you take the chance that the item is not going to be reduced further. Otherwise everyone who bought items the week before sale would be trooping into M&S to have their purchases refunded and sold to them at the sale price - shops do not work like that especially M&S. Blame the postal service for taking so long to get your items!!0 -
You can take an online order back to your M&S store along with your invoice for a refund. You can not return and then buy back at the lower price though. You could risk waiting for it to be returned to the sales floor, then buy it back, but if they're busy you could be waiting a while.0
