Think there's a few "Dixons" estate agents around... do you mean the Midland based chain- part of "Countrywide " they trade under different names around the country

I expect this thread will get removed, they usually do. For all we know, you could be the estate agent down the road trying to score points against them.

although as I assume the OP is talking about the service from a 1200 branch chain, ( think abot 40 of which are branded dixons) and his has not named the town, I suppose its little different to someone posting about service from XYZ bank

  • Surely anyone reading this post would make their own mind- It doesn't really provide any information-it would be different if it had specific reasons-probably just some letting off steam and should better treated and listened to as such-eh?
I am a fee charging WoM Mortgage broker.
I now no longer give information and opinion within the Mortgage boards, because a number of posters who, having approached me professionally, agreed my fee-which has been been made very clear at the outset, taken my advice (normally cancelling a [home visit] meeting at short notice) have then approached one of the fee-free brokers on here to arrange the very same deal I have advised.
Whilst I totally concur with the ethos of "money saving"- abusing the goodwill of a professional who provides a quality service is taking it too far!
  • just trying to worn others, lost the flat i was buying because of there appalling service.
