You're entitled to a refund of the delivery charge if you return an item under the Distance Selling regulations even if the item isn't faulty.
  • I'm adamant that you aren't entitled to a refund of the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty. Did a little google and found this, which quotes the relevant parts of the Distance Selling Reg

For what it's worth....I worked with a virtual shop for several years.
They do not have to refund delivery charge for "unwanted" products, only for "faulty". And you may even have o pay for the return delivery too in some cases...all legit, I'm afraid.

  • Maybe so, but I asked and the chap on the phone said Yes.

That's wonderful news and I'm really pleased they said yes. I was only saying that they don't have to do it. Sorry if I sounded rude.
