Belfast Zoo? You're daughter is probably too young to appreciate it but it's a nice walk and there are some very interesting exhibits.
If you just want a nice walk and don't want to spend any money, head for Shaw's Bridge and walk along the towpath.0 -
If you go for the Tow Path option (which is a good one) I believe the visitor centre / Cafe is now open at Lock Keepers cottage. Brekkie or lunch ? Anyone been to it yet ? (Does is have any facilites for dogs, as in if you have one do they allow them in or have any sort of kennels ?0

I have been down to the Lockkeepers Cafe a few time, I have not been impressed.
Two young guys run it, the menu is great, the setting is great, its open till 8pm, you can eat inside, or outside beside your dog at the shared picnic tables. The bad news -service is terrible. The staff do not have a system in place. I have stopped calling, got sick of standing waiting and listening to the punters have a go at the staff because of poor service. My advise, go but not during busy periods.0
