I did the same thing with the grill last week and ran away screaming. My partner walked over and calmly put it out. Had it been just me I would have let the place burn to the ground. Never been good in a crisis!

I ran to the sink and pour a jug of water all over my hob. It is scary isn't Han.
Yuk theres a horrible burning plastic smell in my house now. Bleurgh
