Its absolutely gorgeous!!
Have you thought about quite a contrasting colour such as turqoise (sp)? I recently went to a wedding and had a brown dress from Wallis and went with turqoise patent leather peep toe heels and a turqoise pashmina. I kept the handbag and necklace brown so as not to be too overkill. I had lots of compliments too!"I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0 -
That is a gorgeous dress!!
Agree with alleycat that turqoise would be stunning with it, or a nice pink would look fab too.
Hope you find something xIf you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0 -
The dress is gorgeous, black accessories would also look good.0

I would maybe go with silver for that type of colour, I was looking at silver pashminas on ebay the other day and they are soooo cheap  you should have a look there, also new look has a massive sale on their shoes atm.
Im going to a wedding too in nov, Im wearing a black dress and getting all silver accesories

hiya again hun, i just typed into google what colours go with aubergine, and it came up with the dulux website and you can paint a room that colour and match it all in with other colours, I didnt do the whole thing, but it showed me a powder pink colour, really light pink and it looked gorgeous
I would prob wear the pink pashmina, but dont know about pink shoes, and you might be forever trying to look for 'the' right shade, anyway have a go at that, it isnt letting me do a linky
sorry i just read ur first post really quickly, i thought that was your dress. Its a beautiful colour hun:)Little Miss Sparkles :A
