Since no luck with the Curry's code, was wondering if anyone had a Comet code please - looking to buy a PS3 bundle so wouldn't mind a saving if I can get one.

Hi folks

This may be along shot but does anyone know of any discounts available for Comet? Our integrated fridge has dies and the freezer is on the way out too, and I intended to buy from Comet as they have an offer on at present allowing me to buy both with 25% of the cheapest. Works on hotpoint, bosch and neff goods, so all good brands. Would mean the 2 I had in mind would be about £560 for both delivered free, but always on the lookout for any further savings if possible. Have discovered I can get 1.5% cashback on MrsCashBack site, but nothing on Quidco.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Comet do have an auction site linked to their website- the price difference is minor- were talking like 10% less, but I guess its better then nothing.

Have looked at the auction site and they actually have the freezer I want on there at present. However, they advertise it as the full RRP of £420 but it is actually in the shop new at £308 at present. Together with the link save deal they have (cheapest item gets 25% discount if buying 2 items) I would only be paying 231 for it new. Auction already up to £130 and does not finish until tomorrow - I have visions of it going higher than I could get it brand new and boxed. Pretty unfair to anyone who had not looked it up at 'proper' price, I'd say.

I haven't tried this myself, but comet.co.uk are offering £30 off a £500 spend, valid til 29th April 09.
Enter the promotion code SAVE30 at the checkout.
I know its a big spend, but just thought someone may be able to use it.
Hope i've done this right, and apologies if i haven't, I'm a 1st timer!
