Kids washable plastic cups

Rather than buying packs of plastic throw away cups for school events we have decided to go green & invest in re useable, washable plastic cups.
I see Ikea have some, 6 for 99p but I don't want to have to travel too far ( 60 mile round trip ).

Does anyone know where I can get some about the same price or less?

try tesco's woolworths asda etc. you might find them online in a sale of summer/picnic items

Sainsburys were the perspex type ones, nut I think you'd be better with the softer plastic ones, usually highly coloured rahter than see through - the perspex ones are nasty if they break, whereas the plastic ones are pretty indestructible.

OF course you do have to wash the cups, which uses up energy, and they will need to be stored too. Perhaps paper cups would be a compromise? Bulk buy them cheaply and have arecycling bin ready to collect them.

Thanks for the replies.
We have a kitchen from where we serve the drinks so washing up & storage isn't a problem.
I think buying 300 throw away cups as opposed to washing 100 every event is not ideal so I new cups it has to be.
I am looking for the coloured ones so will do a reckie of stores.
