  • :o:D Hi :hello:,

I'm new, decided to sign up and put all my debts on yesterday as I've realised it's time to tackle them. I realised today the damage I've done to myself. If I hadn't bought so much junk over the past 2 years I would have had by now around £13K in the bank. Instead, I've had about £27K of debt and just managed to get it down to £21K. I think I was trying to make myself feel better after a bad relationship and a very bad breakup. It didn't help at all and certainly isn't now. I'm now 31 an whilst I have my own flat, I will have to stay with my dad for a good while to pay it back :(

I replied to two posts firstly because of the horrible comments that people had written to people in need of help. I was about to answer with my third "I'm going to put them in their place!" post but then I realised that there was no point as they were just sad individuals.

Why do people post horrible sarky comments when people are obviously up to the wire emotionally and financially?

    :o
