'They' don't like making it easy for people Numpty, sometimes I think you need a degree in benefit claiming so that you know where to go for various benefits because 'they' don't tell you:rolleyes:

Come and live in Brum Numpty - my landlord is fab, he doesnt put the rent up although saying that I have probably put a hex on myself and he will:eek:

Asda - aren't they the people have have strange interview days - called Magic Days? I have heard what goes on and I wasnt impressed:rolleyes:

After much procrastination, I have started to write my remaining assignments which I admit are rather boring which is why I have lost all interest in them:rolleyes:

why were you not given JSA was it because of the bancruptcy??
Ive spoken to the lad again re: bike and he took the valuation he got off web buyers where i used parkers as a guide. parkers are the industry standard, never heard of webbuyers, but their prices are a lot cheaper.

No - apparently because of my 'self-employment' . Not, as I was tempted to believe, due in any part to a computer script read out to me by what I, apparently totally without justification  , perceived to be a 'jobsworth' who didn't even have the courtesy to make eye-contact with me.

Did appeal, nm - simply told I did not qualify for 'salary related jsa'. No benefits as wife works. The same person, who I described above, told me that I could 'always sell my house'.
It is quite a painful area of memory for me, nm, and to be honest, I am trying to move on, but thanks for your sugestion.

I nearly threw something at the telly on Sunday - first was the programme the Big Question wittering on about folks being on the dole and then during the Politics Show. I have decided to stop watching these programmes they're populated by windbags who talk the talk but won't walk the walk and make changes to the Jobcentres - as Digby Jones says "they are not fit for purpose".

Well, I have had an afternoon of smut and great fun its been too:D
