    Clio - I didnt suggest one of those things used by old folks to whizz down the pavement. What I was thinking about are those large scooters, you know the kind that go on the road, they are almost like motorbikes but a bit more enclosed.

    Another alternative for Numpty (although he will need a motorbike licence) is to get a Reliant Robin 3-wheeler.
