For anyone considering BR

Options
I don't come on this forum very often but just wanted to say something to anyone considering BR...
I went BR in Feb this year - it was by far the hardest decision I had to make. However what I wanted to say was that no matter how hard things can get there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
I was discharged in July and since then I have been able to pay every bill on time, I am no longer hassled by creditors and I have just started to train for a new job which I have always wanted to do.
So my message really is, there are dark hard times when you will feel completely alone but make sure you talk to people be it family or friends or people on this forum.
You will come through it and it is possible to turn your life around in a relatively short time!
My life has been completely transformed within a year and if I can do it so can anybody else (its not easy but is possible) just hold on to your dreams!

  • Thanks for the kind replies, I just think in the current climate there are going to be so more many people in the predicament we faced and it is important to remember that although times do get very dark there is light and it does get better!

Thank you for your post, it is hard when actually trying to get through it all, but good to read someone who has and has positive thoughts on a new start in life. I wish you luck.
