Oops, just checked Flylady and it said to 'get dressed to lace up shoes'
I think I missed my opportunity when I scraped back my not-so-clean hair, pulled on my unironed linen trousers and slung on a vest top that I had already worn.
Oh flylady, it makes perfect sense to me but I fear this may take me some time.
I think I will go for a 'hotspot' (dining table) and a completely clean kitchen (not part of flylady that I have seen yet - I sense you build to that a little at a time, but it will give me a sense of enormous wellbeing - sorry Blur) before I go to bed. That and putting away the ironing board that has been stationed next to the TV for a month will make a huge difference. Tomorrow is all about the charity shop stuff hunt.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Thanks for the Get Well wishes.
I've been feeling ill since two days after coming back from Lithuania, last Wednesday evening felt like I was going to be sick (but wasn't), had bad bowels the next morning (twice), have felt sick ever since but not like I wanted to be sick just nausea(sp?). Last night I felt sick a lot and had a bad stomach again this morning so went to the doctors today and she gave me a pot to take a sample to the hospital (if I go again - so far so good - touch wood (touches head)). She also prescribed me some tablets to stop me feeling sick, when I went to get the prescription the Pharmacist said I could buy them over the counter so I only had to pay £5.29 instead of £7.20 for a prescription.
Took one tablet earlier and don't feel as sick so fingers crossed that stops and my stomach is OK so far. I just want to be well to make the most of the free listing days as I have so much stuff and haven't done as much as I wanted to get listed.
One bit of good news is that my Mum came home today after having her hip replacement and she seems to be doing OK.
Off to bed now, DD3 was a pain and wouldn't go to sleep until 11.15pm.

TMD - hope you are feeling better soon. good news about your mum too.
£504.25 paid off o/d's so far this month. just waiting for DH to check his account in the morning and i should be able to add to that as his wages for this month should clear his o/d leaving us with only 1 o/d (mine) :jGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
TMD hun, it sounds horrible, fingers crossed that it is on the way out now (plenty of water sipped slowly! *wagging finger in slightly patronising way*)
Starnac - great progress there, very well done
*remembers it is payday and nips off to check bank account*
Well I can report that waking up to a clean sink (and almost clear hotspot) is indeed very, very pleasant. I'll skip off the 'getting dressed to lace up shoes' as I have the day off today and am hoping to not leave the flat (except maybe a trip to the charity shop, bins and recycling bin - maximum of about 2 minutes each way to the shop, approx 15 seconds to the bins) but I will get tomorrow's outfit all sorted this evening and may do a bath and face pack so that I can join you all in looking pretty and so that I can do the 'getting dressed' thing in kind (I might even do my BL, but lets not run before I can walk - lol)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hey all!
I'm very annoyed that computer at home not working again. It's doing my head in,but I can't afford to buy another one. Hope I get it sorted before the 10 day ebay free listing thing is over. Loads to put on.
Also problems with bf.
Onto better things though, have just transfered 1000€ from my UK bank account to Finland. That's £889.52. Need to work out how much I can deduct from my total debt figure. I'm forever writing to the student loan ppl in Finland asking if I pay this and this amount, what do I owe in total on this datethey must be getting really fed up with me. Wish the loan was in a bank and I could just check without hassling anyone else. Plus now that they need to adjust figures cos the interest rate went down couple of months ago, it'll be even more difficult for me to work out how much do I approx owe to them.

Hiya,
You are doing so well with your debt busting. You really are ploughing through it.
Sorry to hear about your BF and the computer. You know where we are if you want to vent, or need some objective advice.

My POA for today, seeing as I have a day off I may as well do something productive:
1) Put on load of washing #1
2) Hang up all clean clothes and put away all linens etc etc
3) Tidy EVERYWHERE
4) Wash the floors
5) Give the bathroom a quick once over
6) Go through cupboards for stuff for charity shop
7) Take out rubbish and recycling
8) take stuff to the charity shop
9) get clothes ready for work tomorrow
10) do face mask, wax BL and have long soak in the bath
11) Ironing
12) Washing up (and of course my new thing, 'shining'* my sink)
13) do my shredding
14) do my filing
15) arrange to go for a drink with guy that contacted me about a job
*It doesn't actually shine because it is one of those weird early 90s white ones with a slightly textured surface so is always dull and generally a bit stained no matter how hard I clean it or what I clean it with.
Phew - I am going to be a busy lady!
Tirl - you could just throw money at the loan and only check the impact every 3 or 6 months, that way you have a lovely surprise and something to look forward to, you can set yourself targets and then there will be a big holding breath style moment when you do check to see whether you have hit your target or not
ETA: Sorry hun, I missed the line about your BF, what's up, are you OK? I will be around on and off all day if you want to rant - I reckon I can shred/file and natter at the same time - I am woman, I can multitask£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
