  • Hi all

No money updates from me as I ams till paying of the holiday but I haven't spent anything today - I had to come home from work ill this morning, not sure that is my favourite way to do a no spend day

I was thinking while I was sorting out my clean washing last night to put away and by my crude reckoning I shuld be debt free by April 1020 at the latest (as long as there aren't any more holiday booking slip ups) and I really think that the first thing I will do is throw away every item of underwear I have and replace the lot with a half sensible amount of decent stuff (well the decent condition bras I will send to that charity that redistributes them to people that need them)

I have had so much underwear (150+ knickers and 50+ bras) for so long that it will all do its job for the next year but it is fair to say that quite a bit of it is looking a little 'tired' [read: 'manky'] now

Oh that is truly something to aim for, I love underwear shopping, the last new stuff I had was from M&S in the sale last January for about a £1 a pair of cotton shorts.

I wonder if the cotton stuff can be shredded and put in compost??? *goes off for a google*

PAID - what charity is that for underwear? Have a few bras that don't fit me anymore and they are in really good condition as not much used. They could do with a new home.

    Thanks.

  • Here is that charity, I thinkI sent about 12 at last clear out. I haven't gone into the charity into too much detail but I like the idea of someone else geting the use of my 'I am sure it will be alright when I have worn it for a bit' purchases

I found it on the charity part of this forum:

Nor did I, however I did find a possible up your income......

The top return from google was a girl called Abby who seemed to be rather accomodating with her knickers. I didn't click through but from what I can tell you could pick a pair from her "pantie drawer", wear them and then she would send them to you. While this is a bit minging I bet she makes a fortune from it.

Now that could be a way to get out of debt......

  • Balls, I just remembered that I didn't have a no spend day as I had to go and buy some medicine - argh, I must go and see my GP so that I can get a prescription.
