Popped into Asda in Stevenage this morning and picked up 2 free boxes, which is excellent. Not a single Asda magazine to be found in the whole store, but an assistant said more on the way from the warehouse. :D

No i used the self service checkout, where you scan everything yourself, no staff required.

Just popped to my local Tesco's to get some eye drops for my wife. While i was there i picked up a few bits including a box of the chococcino pods which she likes. Went to one of the self service checkouts, scanned all my items through, clicked on the finish and pay icon on the screen, and saw a coupon icon, so clicked on that and scanned my ASDA coupon, and it took £3-28 off my bill :rotfl: Just thought this information might be useful to someone  Thanks Tesco's for saving me a 15 mile trip to the nearest Asda :A

Be warned that using an Asda voucher like that may get you into trouble. Especially if you used your clubcard or credit card they can track you as the customer who used the voucher.

Obviously the bar code just tells the machine it's worth £3-28, not that it's an Asda voucher.

In Tesco i even use Self CHeck out, when i scan the voucher then the screen said "please wait, a member of staff will attend and verify your coupon"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are watching and become strict, they seal the self check out coupon box wheere i need to put voucher inside the slot.

We'll have a coffee afternoon to raise money for charity which cares for children with cancer on November. I've got Krups machine so thought better cup of coffee may raise more money. Unfortunately no single magazine in 3 local ASDAs. Maybe someone who grabbed more magazines could send me some? I would gladly pay postage and could pay up to £1 for each voucher (of course, would like them as cheap as possible :) ).
