Netgear DG834GT + USB Adapter £85 at Currys
greenstick
Having been refunded at Comet for a faulty Linksys WRT54g Wireless router, I popped to Currys to see what they had.
They are offering a Netgear DG834GT (which is 108Mbps) with a 108Mbps USB Wireless adaptor for £84.99, which is £5 cheaper than the DG834G (54Mbps) with no USB adaptor.
It is labelled as a DGB111GTUK which I assume is the package reference, I have opened the box and everything is as it should be.
I set one of these up for a relative at the weekend and it was a piece of cake, which is why I realised my Linksys stuff was faulty.
The staff I spoke to new about it and just said "don't question it". This was in the Crown Point retail park, Leeds but I assume it'll be the same countrywide.
p.s. None of these prices are reflected on the website.

In case anyone's looking for the DG834G (inc adaptor) at a lower price, our friends (?) in PC World have it at £69 - and TODAY ONLY are throwing in a free 128MB flash drive.

128MB is a bit small these days0

I asume netgear re-labelled it due to all the complaints and returns they've had about that particular router - DG834GT. I had to return mine when it wouldn't connect to the internet after about a week of moderate usage. There was nothing wrong with the connection as my usb modem connected immediately. There is a very long thread on Netgears Support forums - http://forum1.netgear.com/support/index.php0

The Amazon deal includes a Netgear WG111 Wireless 54Mbps USB 2.0 Adapter all for £64 delivered, just ordered one0

Brought mine when the Amazon discount voucher brought the price down to £58 for both USB adapter and router. Both have worked fine and I've had no problems at allMatched betting profits since 11/10/06 = £1,5540
