welcome car finance setlement how long ?

so i got a car finance from them 20months ago and never missed a payment i recently got some money. so im wanting to trade my car so ive rung wf and asked if i could have a setlement figure but was told they cant do it over phone so after a week im still waiting for the letter so i can pay what i owe off.how long does it usually take to get a figure off them ive got cash in bank waiting to pay them just want a new car but i cant do anything cos im wanting to px my car so im in limbo :mad:

we had this issue as well, It took several phonecalls & letters and a call to their legal dept in the end to get it sorted. Told them if they did not sort it we would complain to FO. made sure all letters were sent via recorded delivery as they are very fond of saying we didn't get the letter & also wrote down, name, date & time of each phonecall. Do keep trying but you do have to pester them.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."
