Loan Insurance Help Required

In February 2007, I claimed on loan insurance with LLOYDS TSB as I was off work ill. They duly paid out. However, in September 2008, 18 months later, they contacted me and said they had overpaid by one month and demanded I repay 387.00. Where do I stand on this, e.g. length of time it took them to inform me, do I have to pay it back in one sum, etc.....
Any advice would be very helpful as to who should I contact regards this.

    Hi there hun

Please do you think you could copy and paste and take it to the below link which is the PPI-reclaiming-discussion thread, there you may get some help and guidance from here.;)

Even though I note they state they have overpaid by one month, I am not absolutely certain where you would stand in this case but you could always suggest of making a payment every month of what you can afford.

If your not certain that you have overpaid or not, ask them to provide you a written breakdown of this with dates, they are supposed to provide this for you for your records.

However I can see you are not making a complaint for mis selling, so if you also want to keep posting on here just in case someone could give some helpful advice for you, its up to you if you want to check out some answers over at the above link I added, you may still get some helpful replies, good luck, I hope it all works out for you.;)
