Or you can get a freebie like...

http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 Antivirus
and http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp Firewall
Edit: Whilst Sygate is still relevant as a Firewall there were some issues as to its download abillity but Symantec have purchased Sygate so it is not available anymore, for people who have sygate it still works as a firewall.
So with the above in mind I would suggest Zonealarm or Kerio I myself
would go for Kerio every time, bearing in mind kerio have just been bought aswell but is still downloadable.
www.sygate.com = see what happens.
Kerio Firewall = http://www.voodoofiles.com/5881

I have tried to be fair to all parties here by removing some posts and amending a little. We are happy to see cheaper or free alternatives being listed as that is moneysaving, but can we try and keep personal opinions a little more constructive than "this sucks" or "this is way better"
I think moneysavers find facts and costs more relevent than specific views.
Thanks everyone

I bought this the other week. First I reserved online for £49.99 and did the "Collect @store" thing. The first thing I saw when I walked in was it half-price for £24.99, so obviously I bought that one instead.
The REALLY stupid thing though, is that they also had Norton Anti-Virus on special offer (which is included in Norton Internet Security), for £35.99... so to just buy the anti-virus, which is on special offer as well, costs more than to buy the entire suite... makes no sense!0
