Have a wonderful time at the mini-meet tonight, may the drink flow freely but the curse of the hangover pass you all by!

Got another day off today. Got to calculate my overtime from July so that HR can pay me for some of it, the rest I'll be taking as a day off each week for a couple of months.

Jinky - snap I'm being forced to do housework out of sheer necessity; the house is a tip.

Ive got to fit in a 6 mile run this morning whilst DD is at pre-school then i must also do some housework. Will probably end up taking her to Play park or local farm this afternoon if it stays nice. Tell you what it was COLD last night..brrrrr still haven't put the heating on yet though and am forcing everyone to wear extra layers!

I've arranged an alternative night out. I'm going to the greyhounds with my mate, we haven't been for ages. Going to use the 1p free entry and free meal from the food place voucher from grabbit.

Everyone doing housework today almost makes me glad im in work or I would have been shamed into doing some!

Ive woke up with a horrible cold, everything is aching and bunged up, hands up who give it me?!

Sally, I too am determined to last as long as possible without the central heating being turned on. Wayne still insists on wearing 3/4 length combats so untill he wears full length trousers and long sleeved t-shirts with an additional layer the heating will NOT go on. Last year he was swanning around the house wearing summer shorts and vest style t-shirts with the doors and windows open and the heating on full pelt:mad: I also never realised how much he'd say he was putting it on for me when I was on the computer but it was actually for his benefit.

Saying that it must be a bit nippy cos the SIL who normally starts to strip off when she comes round to our house asked if she could borrow a jumper to keep warm:o

OK everyone - thinking caps on. DD has a party at her school on bonfire night. She needs to go in fancy dress as a firework! How the hell do you do a firework costume?
