If you are a member of a trade union, most of their solicitors(i.e The ones who deal with compensation claims) usually offer a free basic will writing service. I have taken advantage of this, & got my will for myself & partner back within a few weeks. If you are not entirely happy with the will, you can make amendments, send it back to the solicitors, who will draft up new copies. When you are happy with the will, all you then need to do is get 2 witnesses to sign your will.
See your trade union rep, shop steward, or branch secretary who will give you all the details of where to start.
Hope tis is of use to all you moneysavers.:money:

Having gone through an extremely expensive divorce, which has left me completely broke, I am delighted to find any means possible not to fall into the hands of those blood suckers ( called solicitors) ever again. So I will certainly be asking my union rep about this, as I need to make sure that my equally blood-sucking ex doesn't get a penny - which is about all I will have left soon :rolleyes:0 -
Animal Aid offers a free will writing service to it's members http://www.animalaid.org.uk/h/n/DONATE/legacy/ALL/// as do various other charities, so if you're a member of any charity and want to leave them anything, find out if your chosen one offers this service too.
Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice.
