The book people are excellent, I've been using them for years. The sets are good value, and you can split them for presents, or even instead of party bags at birthday parties :)

My 3 year old loves sticker books, and I bought him an Usborne apple tree farm one at a stall at an event we went to - it was £3.99. It's a storybook, so it lasts longer than just sticking the stickers in.

I was going to get him another for christmas, but the book people had a set of 20 for £12.99! usual price would be £80. I bought the set of 20, and will use some of them as christmas presents for nephews and neices, and my boy will have lots left over for santa to give to him :)

yes, they're fab! it says age 3-5 but a 2 year old would also enjoy them i think. playgroup gave all the children an apple tree farm storybook for christmas last year, and my son loved it, he was 2.

They are good value etc, but I stopped ordering as my local delivery person kept leaving the books with the next door neighbour who I don't even know :o
  • Great - they've got another Dr Who 10 book box set in for £9.99. Always handy for if I can't find anything I fancy in the library. Unfortunately I find anything other than Sci Fi/Fantasy or horror is rather boring and they have got a miniscule Sci Fi/Horror section in the library! Also gone for Bear Grylls for £5 for my son's Christmas.

Sometimes i have seen what looks like a good offer, then discovered the books are paperback-not so good for kids of a certain age-but managed to find the same thing elsewhere in hardback at a very similar price.
    Check!

Usborne organisers had a good offer on the Farmyard Tales sticker books too - £16.99 for the 20 delivered to your door, whereas you might (or might not, depending on your total order value) have to pay p&p on top of the BP price.

Usborne are also doing some great multipacks of 6 activity books for £12.99, normal RRP £4.99 each and handy as lovely gifts / stocking fillers. There's a girls' set or a boys' set .... and a gorgeous set of 5 Christmas books (RRP £4.99 each) for only £9.99.

AND with Usborne if you host a party you can get these books free of charge ... which is hard to beat!

(Yes I'm an independent Usborne bookseller but you're not likely to come and buy any from me, so I'm giving this as information rather than trying to gain any personal benefit from it!)
