Biscuits/chocs for allergic person?

I want to make a present for a friend, but she cannot eat milk, or wheat. She can eat After Eights so chocolate must be OK.

Can I make her biscuits? Does anyone had a suitable recipe? Or peppermint creams?

Help! Time is running out!

    Hi Skintchick
Here's a recipe for Choc Peppermint Creams that I've found very useful:
    1 egg white
    Peppermint Oil
    225g icing sugar
    100g plain chocolate, chopped

Lightly dust work surface, rolling pin & 1/2in cutter with extra icing sugar
Whisk the egg white until its foam. Add about 4 drops peppermint oil. Mix in sufficient icing sugar to give a stiff but pliable paste. Turn out on to work surface & knead until free of cracks & smooth. Roll out to about 1/4in thick. Cut into circles. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over saucepan of hot water (make sure water does not touch bowl). Then you can either dip the creams completely or half dip. Leave on a wire rack to set the put in small sweet cases.
These are easy & look good too. You can colour the paste by adding a few drops of green food colouring when you add the peppermint oil.
    Hope this helps

Brilliant - that looks nice and easy! Have bought some gold organza bags off eBay (ten for £1.90) so will pop them in those as quick and easy pressies.
    Thanks!!
