anybody doing day trading?

want to consider daytrading - shares, currencies, futures etc. anybody had any experience - good or bad - in doing this. any systems to recommend? or even any other good ways of earning money from home?

I know a few people that have tried it.

Some people lost a packet and had to go back to work. I think that those were people that didn't have a coherent strategy and that became emotionally attached to some of the decisions that they made so refused to sell shares where they had clearly made bad decisions.

The people I know that have made money from this have mostly used 'momentum trading'. In simple terms, if it's going up then buy it. If it's going down then sell it.

The people I know that have done day trading have either traded CFDs or covered warrants. The people that I know that have tried day trading are also all back doing 'proper jobs'.

Be warned. Day trading is a very risky way of making money. Most people also find it very boring as they are stuck in the house all day.
