    Hi

Really sorry about your problems. Have you claimed Incapacity Benefit, Income Support you could possibly also be entitled to Carers Allowance, theres also Housing Benefit, if you rent and Council Tax Benefit. Would your wife be entitled to Disability Living Allowance. Have you informed Tax Credits about your change of income. Get in touch with your local Jobcentre, they'll be able to give you all the Tel Nos you need.

Hope this helps a bit & good luck

    Hiya my lovely,

My Mum and Dad were in your position recently so I thought I'd click to see if I could help - but everything I would have suggested and more has already been said.

    (They're bloody brilliant, this lot! :D )

I'll just add some links though to save some googling.

http://www.entitledto.com/ is a great starting point.

    Welfare Rights are really helpful

and we found Mum & Dad's GP had big posters up saying "let us know if you're a carer" which got thingsmoving in the right direction.

Bless you honey, there's lots of help out there, and hopefully once you get the ball rolling one thing will lead to another.

    All the best,

    Love Jacks xxx :D
