BR - allowances for expenses, general guidelines?

Options
I am looking thought all the threads and all the great personal advice to every poster but....

Is there somewhere one can look up general guidelines to what allowances are while BR?

For housekeeping, food, clothes etc etc etc?

Not on one to one basis but generally for 2 adults?

Are local variations taken into account (London being more expensive for example)?

Any links?

Thanks a lot

Anna you just need to put down what you would normally spend. If you put it up on here we can guide you to what most OR's will generally be ok with, they have guidelines they have to follow. Though as you have probably have surmised nothing is ever straight forward.

The only ones I have seen appear to be well out of date Anna. I think you need to look at what you spend, also remember the OR will probably ask for bank statements so it is pointless telling porkies.

Exactly - I am asking if anyone has links to those guidelines?
OR will probably ask for bank statements so it is pointless telling porkies.

Not into telling porkies myself - pay for a lot of things in cash though so that won't show on statements in any other way then cash withdrawals without specifying for what.

And as my income/expenses are going to change dramitacally - even I do nto know know what they will be /may be/ shoul be.

Anyway, this is not about that - I would simply really like to see those guidelines that they use....

    Anyone?

    Thanks a lot
