hi, 10 yrs ago i was like many of you here....desperate.
to cut a very long story short, i contacted citizens advice who were brilliant.
managed to get debts wiped off or reduced to £3.00 p/m.
if the companies refused the offer and sent a court letter, i had to fill in the incoming/outgoings bit, and the court decided that they couldnt get blood out of a stone!though some tried.
so the court basically said excepy the payment offer or go without.
when once the court sees your doing all they can theyre on your side, especially with cab behind you.
i had 2 credit cards of 10k each wiped off through the court.
yes i had bailiffs, who almost cleared my house, just left me with the essecials i needed.
yes i had my house repo'd, left homeless with 6 kids.
as i say 10yrs on lifes brilliant, no debt if i dont have the cash to pay for it i dont get it,simple as that.
i have 1 bank account, so i can pay bills.
no credit cards, its not even tempting....been there done that.
so to all of you out there, go to cab, get the help, dont be frightened of the future, the great way to think of it is it's only possessions, when your the "other side" its brilliant.
hang in there, you'll get there in the end and good luck to every1.
