Post dated cheques??

I have a free business account with the Abbey. Last week i received ten cheques from a company i do work for and banked them through the atm machine. Unfortunatly the cheques were post dated to the 14th oct the manager at the bank posted them back to me first class. It was the 10th of oct when i deposited and when the cheques were posted back why on earth did they not hold them for me to collect in person??

I was so annoyed.....

To add salt to the wounds it is now the 16th oct and i still have not received them back, i just hope they have not fallen into the wrong hands. :eek:
No one else can cash cheques payable to me can they???

Only if they have documents to prove that they have your name, if you're called John Smith then worry. Seriously you need to find when and where these were posted then contact the P.O. who will initiate a search.
