Afternoon All:j
I've been lurking on this thread for a while and with all the ideas on here, I wondered if any of you would be able to help me.
I've been put on a restricted diet to try and sort out some medical problems and I'm having real trouble coming up with interesting meals for me and OH. OH is not on the diet, and I don't mind doing a bit extra for him, but I don't want to be cooking two completely different meals every night. Also, I don't have a lot of time (full-time and 2 part-time jobs, and 2 OU courses) so speed is always good! With that tall order, here's what I can't eat:
Red Meat
Processed meat (ie bacon, ham, etc)
Tomato
Aubergine
white potatos
shellfish
sugar
fried food
alcohol
vinegar
hot spices
any sauces
peppers
dairy
white flour
coconut
Any processed food (ie smoked, pickled, etc)
I can use olive oil and lemon juice as dressings, but I'm getting a bit fed up with white fish and veg and was hoping maybe some of you guys might have some fab ideas for reinvigorating my dinners!!!
Ta loads in advance :T
