would you expect the child tax credits to reduce when they find out you are receiving 7k in maintenance? i thought you only recevied the lowest payment once you earnt over £26k and you wont be far off that.0 -
That is incorrect. Tax credits do not take maintainance as income.
The 11500 will probably include a large portion for childcare considering the age of her child.
I had TC's as income for my mortgage, and they would have included maintainance had it been through a solicitor. That was with Halifax.0 -
We have put forward a case for our lender to take into account the fact that we receive in excess of £1100 a month for adoption allowances.
This is payable until our children leave school.0
